

Thank you for this opportunity to connect my course work to practical applications in the business world. It’s been an honor competing and learning. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this experience over the past 2 weeks. I also learned that competition is a force that requires constant experimentation and close observation.

The Invitational taught me to tie lessons and theories I learn in school to the real-world impact. Conclusion GLO-BUS "Developing Winning Competitive Strategies" But first, I look forward to the upcoming Opening Address that will kick off Fall 2020 school year. Now a distinguished Invitational participant, I look forward to a promising and distinguished career in business. This will be a great semester full of academic success and professional development. This unique virtual experience is a reminder of how grateful I am to be returning in person to my favorite building on campus - the Feliciano School of Business.

Concluding Summer: Start of a New Semester These are the results we have to show after 2 weeks of work representing 15 simulated years in the industry? What I came to realize is that the outcome is not always as important as the takeaways. This news first came to me as a shock then as a disappointment. However, my team tied at 7th place out of 10 schools. What was the outcome? This BSI Distinguished Participant certificate is a recognition extended to less than 5% of the players of GLO-BUS. I started with the goal of being at least in the top 5.
