I redo the verification, 1 still unverified. I uninstall several mods I installed before I picked up the game after that several-month hiatus. I go through an unloaded gap in the wall to the entrance, try to enter, infinite loading screen. I try pulling out my hot-keyed weapons, but they won't switch unless I go into the Pip-Boy and manually switch, but there are no firing sounds or reload sounds. The walls don't load, the gate is closed for some reason, no NPCs. I try fast traveling, another infinite loading screen. Restart the game AGAIN, my last save being the autosave outside Rockopolis. Pick up the bobblehead, leave, and try fast traveling to Tenpenny Tower, and another infinite loading screen. I restart the game and I get into Rockopolis. I go in and boom infinite loading screen again.
This is all important because this problem never really went away, just decreased in frequency I guess?Īnyway, I finally load a save, which is the one right before I tried going into Rockopolis. I close the game and this time all the normal options appear, but when I click the Load tab the screen freezes again. I load up task manager and the game is not responding and the power usage is very high. I look at my second monitor taskbar and there is no game icon. However, I try to start the game up, and the main menu screen comes up, but the title doesn't load nor do any of the options like Load Save or Options, just the image of the ranger that is the main menu. I stopped playing for months after this and yesterday I randomly try to play the game again forgetting my former issues.
If I try to load a save, it freezes my screen to that. I fall for like 2 feet then teleport back up and fall again, repeatedly. I load the game back up and try again, this time I enter but the interior cell doesn't generate, I just fall into an empty white void with some misc items placed where the objects they're on are supposed to be. It started a couple of months ago when I tried entering an interior cell only for it to cause an infinite loading screen, specifically, this is when I tried entering Rockopolis. However, I've recently come across a multitude of bugs that make the game unplayable. Now, I've had problems with the game before, especially with TTW and mods, but I've always been able to work around it. I am also playing with Tale of Two Wastelands. I'm playing a heavily modded Fallout New Vegas, with 218 installed mods in my mod manager.
